BE THE NEW "VINTAGE"
CHRISTA ELISHA, OXFORD, OH
Pioneers, you aren't going to be everyone's flavor, and that's okay. Don't take it personal. In fact, praise God for rejection that leads you to redirection. If you had stayed back there, you would have settled for less than what the Lord made you for. Stay grounded in God's acceptance of you, shake the dust off, and keep walking in Christ-like love.
As you continue in obedience, allowing Jesus to pour into you in the seasons of isolation, the overflow from your personal relationship will begin to attract the thirsty ones—the ones who long to be satisfied with all God has and know there is more than what many have settled for; the ones who have tasted and seen the goodness of God gushing out of you and desire to know Him in that same way; the ones who are willing to be crushed under the glory alongside of you so that they, too, can be a "vintage" this generation is desperately longing for but cannot find. They are the vessels marked for you to pour into. It is those who honor the new wine you carry that God has ordained to be your tribe.
As you pour into each other and pour your lives out on the feet of Jesus, you will begin to tap into the deep wells of revival that have been forgotten and forsaken. You aren't for everyone, but you aren't alone either. Jesus sees, and so do those of us who have also seen the heavenly blueprint for the new era.
Trust the process. Stand confident in Christ's love. Invite His Spirit to refresh you and heal your soul. Allow Him to build your character so you can handle the increase. After all, this crushing isn't just for you, it's for those who are yet to come.
